Worst episode of X-Files is the Jersey Devil one. I randomly think about that episode and get upset all over again. Such a terrible representation of New Jersey lore. Like you seriously think the Jersey Devil is just a feral hominid? Come the fuck on.

Stuck at the character creation screen for hours because I realized how much I hate having a physical body and can't decide what "looks good" for myself and just wish I can be a poltergeist or some other incorporeal being.

I love Dark Souls. Dark Souls is cool. And I know the word "dark" is in the title but by the third Dark Souls I'm a little over it with the depressing and somber tone. I get it. Everything is in ruins. Everyone died.

Quest 64 is one of those games they actually should give a good remake. Like yeah it was crappy but it had interesting ideas and a certain aesthetic that could be better brought out through a remake.

When I wonder about if there's another possible way we can tell a story, I think a lot about the movie Arrival when it's revealed how the aliens communicate through their unique syntax and how it ultimately means understanding time differently.

I'm a fan of "in medias res", where a story just starts in the middle, and then we go back for a moment to understand it and then go forward. My major WIP is all over the place like that and the "main character" doesn't even get a POV but is described through other characters.

I think about this a lot. I get existential dread thinking about the "narrative prison" where it feels like we just communicate everything (not just stories) in three basic acts - "introduction, body, conclusion"
