Reuters reports the Thomas Hudner, a US Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, "shot down a drone in the Red Sea that emanated from Yemen" during the early morning local time on Wednesday. Reuters added it's unclear "whether the drone was armed or how close it came to the ship before being shot down."

Yemen's Chief of Staff, General Sagheer bin Aziz, survived an assassination attempt today when a car bomb exploded near his convoy on the international highway east of Marib, military sources said.
7 individuals, incl 3 soldiers, were wounded in the explosion.

Houthis never stopped trying to take pot shots, but this is allegedly the 2nd time they've targeted Bin Aziz, probably the single most important person to the GoY Army, in a month.

Could be bc he's been more exposed. But also...you could see how offing him could be the start of something bigger.
