They keep begging for the EPP votes, using every scare tactic that they can come up with.

the right being like 'how are we supposed to force people to change, if we ban forcing people to change' would be funny, if it wasnt so sad and disgusting.

Now the amendments are debated one by one.

Now the right are trying to move the report back to the committee.
(and pleading to the EPP to vote against the resolution)

Now Helena Dalli, former Minister of Malta (the first country to institute a ban), is speaking from her experience for this resolution.
Making clear that freedom of religion and believe can never be an excuse for abuse;
and that inaction is a political choice for abuse.

She also makes clear that striking trans people from the resolution is not acceptable.

To make clear that the ban wouldn't restrict parents and professionals (like some falsely claimed) that support their children, an amendment might be accepted.
