Finally, FINALLY, saw Sinners last night. That movie managed to live up to my expectations while exceeding and subverting them all at once. So glad I went in not knowing much beyond my hype for 'Ryan Coogler vampire movie'.

Rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the 1st season is smart and snappy, but fairly throwaway, fun. Season 2, and the introduction of Spike and Dru, and all that brings, however...chefs kiss. Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Marsters were electric together from their first scene.

Great! We'll sort it out nearer release! I've seen a couple, and it can be remarkably intense. Very different from watching at home, where you are familiar with the shadows of your surroundings haha

If you fancy it, I'm up for a cinema trek for this one. May well have to watch Shadow of the Vampire in preparation, actually!
