Just a guy who likes Marvel, DC, Comic Books in general, Dragon Ball, video games and many other things. "In the dark times, should the stars also go out?"

01.12.2024 17:57 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 1 π 7I havenβt fully watched the show, but people say that the first arc is better in the show because it takes it time
30.11.2024 09:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0to say about the overall story arc imo.
Overall, a great start to an amazing series, despite feeling a bit rushed. I'd give it a solid 3/5
because they had no idea if they would even go beyond 5 issues, so they really needed to get things rolling to make new readers hooked. And to me, they did a great job at that. Never once did I feel bored when reading it.
But because it is slightly rushed, there isn't much -
it easier for new readers to get hooked. You get introduced to the main cast fairly quickly and the world they live in.
But on the other hand, it can feel a bit rushed which hurts stuff like the conflict between Shane and Rick. But I don't blame the creative team too hard-
opinion on the Beginning/Farm arc is pretty much the exact same as when I read it for the first time.
It wastes no time and sets things off pretty quickly. This to me is this arc's biggest strength and weakness. On one hand, it doesn't waste your time which in turn makes-
I have been feeling in a The Walking Dead mood recently, so I decided to read the comics for the second time. But this time I wanna do a small review after each arc to voice my opinion on them and give them a rating.
So we're starting off with the Beginning/Farm Arc. My-
I was a bit tempted to get it just for that, but I think I'm gonna wait a bit before I get it

Normally I'm not too hyped on Golden Age stuff, but I'm actually really excited to read Superman and JSA Golden Age stuff
We got a preview for JSA #2!
I can't wait to read the entire thing
Yeah I have heard that's a huge problem. I never had to deal with that. But then again, I never matched with anyone lol. I think I just prefer making connections in person

Keep the discussions going!

This is the closest thing we have to Dan Mora drawing Hourman
28.11.2024 11:43 β π 16 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, I tried it twice and instantly realized how pointless it was.
My biggest problem is how nobody puts any effort into their bios. How am I supposed to get an idea of their personalities if they don't put anymore in it, or just links their instagram?

Could be anything from Cartoons, Comics, Anime, Manga, Movies, TV-Shows, Video Games etc. From any medium
Before I start the second Starman by James Robinson Compendium, I wanted to refresh my memory. So I read Starman Secret Files.
And man, I had forgotten how much I love this book.
Yeah it's probably better for me to try to finish runs before I start new ones lol
22.11.2024 16:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Now I gotta figure out what to read next. I will probably start reading the second and last Starman compendium, because that's a run I have been wanting to finish for a while now

22.11.2024 16:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In short: A good introduction run to the team, but nothing super mind-boggling. I'd give it a solid 7/10
22.11.2024 16:16 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0complaint tbh, is that it's nothing revolutionary or amazing.
It's a solid and fun run that does a great job at making you interested in the team. But it doesn't leave me CRAVING for more Fantastic Four content, if that makes sense?
I really enjoyed! I can see why people recommend this to beginners, since it does a good job at introducing you to the team and giving you an idea of what they are all about. The stories was fun, especially the ones involving Dr. Doom.
My only "complaint", which I wouldn't even consider a-
And now I'm done with Mark Waid's Fantastic Four run

Hourman is someone who could definitely be interpreted as someone with ADHD, as he shows symptoms of it.
But this could also be explained as me simply self-projecting onto the character, since I am currently undergoing a diagnosis for ADHD and show signs of having it.
