I think Donovan is a guy to build around. He seems to be a leader (maybe *the* leader) and he's extremely versatile, so I wouldn't trade him.

Then again, it would be nice to trade someone before their value completely plummets, as the Cardinals have done a lot of in the past several years.

I think most of the frustration isn't over the initial trade, but in the refusal to trade him this past offseason when he still had value and the Cardinals had allegedly committed to a youth movement.
