Little genestealer familiar. I love this faction as it conserves the monstrosity of tyranids but gives them a lot of rich culture. And there are great official illustrations made for them.

I neglected the use of references for many years. I can get much better results and less mental stress by just having some direct references instead of wanting to construct things from scratch all the time (not applied here).

There are tons of interpretations for a basilisk. I didn’t feel like drawing a chicken monster so I leaned into the snake part. I wish I had the patience to put in every scale, but nope.
