Fr. I had a friend take one visit to a counselor in college, and he managed to get antidepressants... His FIRST visit. My friends and I (PoC) also have depression and were only recommended "group therapy". Hell, it took until I was 27 to be diagnosed with ADHD 🙃 I'm still unmedicated.
