Unless you rely on your venue to do your ticketing, in which case there might be limits from their technology and policies on what you can offer for resale and exchanges.

Relationship to space (e.g. owning the building, or being on good terms with your landlord) is really important for arts orgs. But having lower power to set prices and thinking about your audience as both ticket-buyers _and_ donors probably influences the consumer-friendliness of ticketing more.
