Picked my kid up from school and he’s apparently been singing ‘You’re living in your own Private Idaho’ all day and now his friends are singing it too.

My autistic brain needs detailed planning.

My ADHD brain needs the chaos and anxiety of an imminent deadline.

This means I now have ~18 hours to write and record 2 new tracks ahead of a recording session tomorrow.

Far too many people vastly underestimate both the time and cognitive load introduced by constantly vetting and meeting new people.

It's entirely rational and reasonable to want a break from that side of things. I know my AuDHD brain does!
