The treatment is night and day different, and it’s really hard to imagine how it was missed…

100% agree with all of this. This show has such an impactful story and message, but these blind spots really do damage and break trust with the audience. I plan to watch until the end, but I’m disappointed that some lessons never seem to be learned.

It isn’t the fact that she died that I take issue with, I expect for there to be a lot more casualties by the end of the show. It’s the fact that there is a pattern of queer fem characters killed in this way. It’s happened in Buffy, The Walking Dead, The 100 to name a few. I expected more from Andor

Perhaps indefensible would have been a better word choice? This method of death has happened to a lot of queer feminine characters. Often it’s excused by the writers for the fact that the tv series is so high stakes (as with this show). Someone should have caught this.

And she was accidentally shot too… This happens so much in tv that it’s just straight up lazy writing. There’s no excuse. I have really enjoyed Andor, but this was unforgivable.
