I no longer vote in the negative. If Newsom wants my vote, he needs to earn it. And with the way he has spoken about me and other trans people, he has yet to do that. Don’t gripe at me. Tell Newsom to be better on homeless and trans issues.

And no, Newsom is not an attack dog. He crumples like a wet suit in front of every right winger.

This is what yall always fall back on. “You’re telling them not to vote”. When? No, I’m saying keep them scared and vote for someone better than Newsom in the primaries. This man has not even announced his candidacy yet.

That is not true. I made a harm reduction vote. And I never said whether I would or wouldn’t vote for Newsom. Because I hate Newsom and I don’t want him to be the candidate, and I’d rather the Dems stay scared.

You guys know you deserve better than just “not Trump” right? You know you deserve to actually have a good life, right?

And we can have good lives. But we need to dream it. Do not let fear squash your imagination. Do not let yourself settle for “not Trump”. We have time.

I’m not gonna say whether I would or wouldn’t. Because I need these Dems to stay scared until after the primaries.

Some of you seem to have forgotten that your politicians are supposed to work for YOU. That you are not supposed to grovel at their feet while they beg for money, so they can sit there and be useless for 4 more years. Have some fuckin self respect and demand better.

Is that what you want? Do you just want an endless cycle of decay? Or do you want things to be good? Because they can be, but if you want them to be, you have to make it very clear that you won’t just settle for Newsom, or Newsom is who you are gonna get.

And Gavin Newsom won’t stand up to them. He just has a good social media team. Any time you get him in a room with a right winger, he folds like an old newspaper.

The democrats LOVE when you attack left. So do the republicans.

Because the democrats want to keep being greedy, lazy and spineless, and the republicans love when the dems are greedy, lazy and spineless, because they love that guys like Schumer never stand up to them.

But you gotta ask yourself if you want a better world, a good world, one you are proud to pass on to your children.

Or do you just want a world that resets to the pre Trump era, and descends into something as bad, if not worse, 4 years after the next election?

As long as you, three years out, are willing to go to bat for him, the Dems will just gonna put him in. Because they can. They’ll pump millions of dollars into his campaign and undercut the possibility of anyone more progressive getting elected. They do this all the time.

And unless you threaten to not vote for Gavin Newsom, the Dems will just put in Gavin Newsom, and we will be back to the same old cycle.

If you criticize the Dems too close to an election, you are told you’re bad. If you criticize them THREE YEARS OUT, you’re still told you’re bad. So when, exactly, do we address the fact that 90% of these people are useless and need primaried?

But I have seen VERY FEW actual arguments for him being the man for the job, and we DONT EVEN KNOW FOR A FACT HE IS RUNNING YET.

Because if you want Gavin Newsom, if you genuinely think he’s the best man for the job, then vote for him in the primaries. I can’t stop you. That’s for your conscience to decide.

I know people get really mad at people who say they won’t vote for Gavin Newsom. And to those people I ask “Do you genuinely want Gavin Newsom to be president? Or are you just terrified of the Republicans?”
