It's taken me this long to wonder how my mother's chemo was paid for. Her hospitalizations. Her nursing home hospice. Her funeral. All her disability coverage from her medical retirement? Her life insurance policies, maybe? All I do know is we were not even lower middle class yet I nvr went without.
