Hi, I'd love to be added as a contributor if possible please. Thanks :)
22.01.2025 11:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We found that the carnivorous Sundews were more or less carnivorous depending on microhabitat conditions.

Spot the incorrect AI 'fact':
Bladderworts: turning to algae and pollen as a food source.
Round-leaved Sundews: refusing to eat insects and instead suggesting vegetables like Brussels sprouts and kale.
Sundews: becoming less interested in eating insects due to increased soil nitrogen levels.
Are they both Nature Recovery?

I went to a couple a few years back, tiny little remnants with giant drosera. Most southerly raised bog in Europe! Would be good to do more with those though as they experience very different climate to those in sweden

19.12.2024 19:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is interesting. Did you see the Dynamic Dunescapes project in the UK. There's a move towards encouraging more dynamic dune systems to get those early succession habitats... they're more important for plants too.
