Starting to wonder if orgs replacing devs with AI will discover they have escalated technical debt. Even with accounting problems AI often returns clearly incorrect answers. Asking AI to build upon its own previous responses, all of which are "hallucinations", likely compounds the issue.

Agree 100%. Typically though at the top level there is often the "hidden dominant strategy" of just saying crap to affect the stock price.
