Jeffrey Epsteinโs Friends Sent Him Bawdy Letters for a 50th Birthday Album. One Was From Donald Trump. The leather-bound book was compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell. The president says the letter โis a fake thing.โ By Khadeeja Safdar & Joe Palazzolo, July 17, 2025 at 6:45 pm ET It was Jeffrey Epsteinโs 50th birthday, and Ghislaine Maxwell was preparing a special gift to mark the occasion. She turned to Epsteinโs family and friends. One of them was Donald Trump. Maxwell collected letters from Trump and dozens of Epsteinโs other associates for a 2003 birthday album, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.ย Pages from the leather-bound albumโassembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006โare among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated Epstein and Maxwell years ago, according to people who have reviewed the pages. Itโs unclear if any of the pages are part of the Trump administrationโs recent review. The presidentโs past relationship with Epstein is at a sensitive moment. The Justice Department documents, the so-called Epstein files, and who or what is in them are at the center of a storm consuming the Trump administration. On Wednesday, after angry comments about how the files are a hoax created by Democrats, President Trump lashed out at his own supporters for refusing to let the matter go. The letter bearing Trumpโs name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdyโlike others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the womanโs breasts, and the future presidentโs signature is a squiggly โDonaldโ below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. The letter concludes: โHappy Birthday โ and may every day be another wonderful secret.โ In an interview with the Journal on Tuesday evening, Trump denied writing the letter or drawing the picture. โThis is not me. This is a fake thing. Itโs a fakeโฆ
Iโm done with these mother fucking media outlets putting hoarding knowledge behind paywalls.
This image is the copy/pasted WSJ article about Trumpโs letter to Epstein, published July 17, 2025, by Khadeeja Safdar and Joe Palazzolo.

09.06.2025 21:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Genuine question here - whatโs with the โone of the most โฆโ in American media and public discourse? For something as easy to check - California has 39 million residents, 30% more than the next populous state, Texas - why take such a precaution?
09.06.2025 21:03 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Nah. No one.
05.06.2025 18:24 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And indeed, I read that "typical ChatGPT queries using GPT-4o likely consume roughly 0.3 watt-hours" (epoch.ai/gradient-upd...) which makes much more sense.
27.05.2025 21:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A typical ChatGPT prompt apparently uses 0.3 Wh. So if you did 10 requests per minute (autocompletion, etc.) you would consume 180 W.
But research constantly improves LLMs' efficiency: smaller/optimized models (Gemma-2B, Mistral-7B...) claim to use as little as 0.0002 to 0.01 Wh per prompt...
ChatGPT serves 123 million daily users, as of the latest numbers - users who get information they need, get help for their work, save time on tasks, therefore get more productive...
(Meanwhile Bitcoin mining serves no productive purpose whatsoever).
The numbers are inconsistent: charging 8M mobile phones over a day requires 5 MW, while charging 332K EVs over a month requires 35 MW (7 times more) - so which is it?
If you want to focus on a true waste of electricity, it's Bitcoin mining, estimated at 20 GW (170 TWh/year)...
You are absolutely right. And yet the numbers have been uncritically accepted by many, e.g.: www.businessenergyuk.com/knowledge-hu....
OpenAI's pricing for gpt-4o-mini today is $0.60 per 1M tokens output, meaning that at $0.15/kWh it cannot consume more than 0.0006 kWh for 100 words (150 tokens).
Thatโs not true, that would be an exaggeration. As a matter of fact, you see we are still exposed to the reality when we choose wisely the media. But most of the mainstream news are criminally careful as they rationalize or sugarcoat the behavior of Trump.
