First took a walk from town down Regent Road, to the ground, about 3 years ago. To see the transformation now - class! And it's very much in danger of becoming "The Blue Quarter", upon the glorious banks of a Royal Blue Mersey! Every bar, Everton themed.......and a ferry belting out Blue tunes!

In a hyper commercialised sports arena I think they’ll use every bit of ‘real estate’ for sponsorship so I’d be surprised if it stays fully blue…

DCL seems to stir up some emotions and I’m not sure where they come from. He’s been a great servant with a good attitude and bad luck with injuries. He’s not a badge kisser or chest thumper so hasn’t ever got the crowd fully on board so guess it’s stems from that ?
