I know that the best score academy award usually goes to the film with the MOST score and it kinda makes sense in a way but personally my favorite this year would be Hania Rani’s score for Sentimental Value which compliments the film perfectly

The way the press is treating chatbots, like they have agency and they “know” things all of a sudden, crossed the line recently from dumb and obsequious to something else entirely. Treating them as alive and making conscious decisions is an almost religious belief. It won’t age well.

I’m trying to do a thing I never do in the daw which is record the midi output of a plugin so I google it and I get countless results and AI summaries for the much more common recording input process, thanks very very helpful

You can feel how hard they’re trying to juggle all the characters, storylines, etc. etc. a great amount of busywork just to keep the wheels spinning. I find it tiresome even though there’s some great moments. It’s been fun but we gotta let all these guys move on.

I get the resentment for the latest stranger things but also it is what it is, people want more but it can’t be more of the same and it can’t be too different, it’s probably an unwinnable scenario.
