Well I write the rules so I’m a bit biased! Yes, it’s a good scale for most battles at 1/2400, although I’m playing this at a 1:1 ratio I need to play some of the really epic battles at about 1:4.

Strength and Honour will be here in the Lard Zone at The Other Partizan this weekend rocking two participation games. One naval and one land based. Come and say hello or join in for a quick game.

I’ve managed to get the flock-box out and completed the basing on these at last. So at least the Gauls are ready for The Other Partizan in a fortnight!

I just joined the Germans for a game and we were stopped for the 4th time! We were also brutally repulsed. There was a close tipping point when we nearly had them, but then it fell apart with a French double phase followed by an end of turn and they won fire superiority where it counted. Fun game

Experimenting with a smaller 60mm frontage and basing for the ancient rowie/ram-ie boat game for possible Strength&Honour naval supplement/hail Agrippa game. Photographing 1/2500 boats is hard. Experimenting with @handiworkgames.bsky.social backdrop to give them a bit of context

Base them how you like. For the SandH naval rules just put 3-4 ships together as a unit and you are good to go!

Midgard and strength and honour use the same basing sizes for a unit if you hadn’t noticed so yes, it’s a no brainer!

You know you can play it multiplayer too? I normally play with 2-3 players per side at the club or at shows.

I found a bit of time before the football last night to finish off the Carthaginian medium/heavy cavalry. 2mm figures from Warbases for my Strength & Honour project.

Arriving through the door today WSS 137 with a scenario I’ve written based around Antony’s retreat from Parthia. The theme is around rearguards and fighting retreats.
