TikTok is a great place for extensive use of AI videos such as this one, praising his political programme. Note the crazy engagement ratio with over 151k likes.
However, most of the inauthentic activity was rather "simple", and focused on massively sharing short clips of the candidate. 2/3

It seems that Georgescu's surprising popularity on TikTok was promoted by a galaxy of decentralized accounts that tricked the algorithm into promoting the Romanian candidate. @berkealikasif.bsky.social and I found out that TikTok represents nearly 70% of social media activity on the elections. 1/3
