Flying is something most of us should refuse to do, short of some kind of immediate family emergency. Cancel all those flights for the holidays. Or find another way to travel the distance.

But one of those was offering 'plans as low as $0 per month premiums'. Which same is clearly a lie if you are paying even minimal attention to the government shut down. The second message was talking about the open season and my 'need' to renew my health insurance plan.

For those of my friends who might have been using the ACA to buy health insurance: I found not 1 but 2 spam emails this morning purporting to be from the Health Insurance Marketplace. And they were very clearly scams if you stop to look at the sender's address.
