Taking it steady definitely is the best you can do. If you have a bad day, rest as much as you can.

The fall could also have affected your inner ear. That might cause vertigo. However, I am not a doctor. It may just need time. The fact that you actually could take Brae for a stroll today is a very good sign.

Have you discussed this with your GP? I have a colleague who fell from their bike when a driver suddenly opened the car door => concussion, skull fissure and all nerves which are responsible for smelling cut through.
It took a ling time to recover. They had physio at the time.

Did you have a concussion as well?

It has been a major accident. Do you get physio or have they said how long it’ll take for the effects of the fractured skull to subside?
