Okay Domina seems to be getting the exact kind of attention the OW devs wanted lol.

The most confusing thing about the new Overwatch news has been the response to it. The PR for Overwatch 2 that people seem to be more excited by them dropping the 2 than any of the actual new content lol.

I think there will be some growing pains with this update but overall it seems cool. The new UI is gonna be hard to adjust for though. Based off what I've seen, this kinda looks like it may have originally been intended as OW3, but they seem a little scarred by the pr nightmare of OW2's launch

And Mizuki seems REALLY cool. His design is a little too "e-boy" for me and his story seems like it's going to be very dumb, but ability-wise he seems like he'll be very fun.

Jetpack Cat is just basically just Jeff + Ivy and is gonna suck so fucking hard. Anran sounds like hell to play against. Emrae is such a boring hero, he legit just feels like a Soldier 76 retread. Domina actually seems really cool but here design and name are pretty on the nose.

The problems are set up in a unique way were you're given both a starting point and an end point, but you need to figure out how to get between the two. From there you get to play with the math until you find a successful path, it's so much more fun than just plugging in numerical values.

I have been having a lot of fun with my T-Mech homework, and I can't tell if it's Stockholm Syndrome from how long and hard (full homo) these assignments are, or if the subject is just fun.

I mean I guess it does scrape data from paywalled sites, so if you're into cheating it's cheaper than a Chegg subscription. But also Chegg is dumb as fuck and you shouldn't use it even if it was free because you should just do the problem yourself. Even if you get it wrong you'll learn more.

There are (probably) positive uses for AI outside of just "make me need to think less when completing this task" but I'm not sure we've found them yet. Having a chatbot teach you how to solve a homework problem is never as valuable as just going to a TA's office hours.

My favorite part about the google AI overviews of searches is that 99% of the time they say the same exact thing as the little wikipedia sidebar that also comes up when you search the thing but it takes several more magnitudes of time to load for no reason.

Outside of Photoshop, Premiere, and Animate, what do people even use Adobe for?????? Most of their software is obsolete or only useful for high budget operations (i.e. CGI for movies). Yeah there's also Acrobat but most browsers have PDF editors that are just as good for 99% of people and free.
