Evening photo during winter, facing down a street in a residential neighborhood in the greatest City in the world; the corridor of mostly-brick, residential apartment and condominium buildings extends to the horizon, into a pink and lavender sunset; this specific neighborhood is the most densely populated neighborhood and is home to the City's Mayor; many residents of this community have dogs, which is awesome - but too many owners will not pick up the doo doo - not awesome; the neighborhood has begun turning its lights on; there are still little piles of dirty snow around but they are melting fast, which is good because the streets very seriously need to be swept; there is a cute, little massage service here on the corner, beside a middle school, and it looks to be open.

Daytime scene on an avenue of a special City at wintertime, where there is very little traffic because it is morning and this avenue goes one way - away from the centre of the borough; in the evening, traffic can be very heavy here at rush hour, especially when the nearby expressway is blocked or closed; there is a small, dirty, melting snowbank along the sidewalk and there is a standing white and hot pink sign for a laundromat which reads "Lux Laundry - Fast - Easy" and looks as if it has been buried in the snow all month; it has someone's cute tag written on it; the advertised qualities are very much valued in a laundromat but, although the sign is here, the actual business is nowhere to be found; it is a mystery; the street is very salty from the wintry weather; across the street, a city bus waits at the intersection, and some pedestrians begin crossing the street; along with other (literally) small businesses and restaurants, there is decent bodega over there and the guys working there are pretty cool, as is their cat; a mix of old mid-rise and new high-rise residential buildings surround the scene and the sky in the distance is blue with fluffy white clouds.
