Anyway we buried them in the backyard and I’ve cried multiple times today and feel quite traumatized by the whole thing but I don’t know if I’m just being a baby about it

Some baby birds were born in the wreath on our front door yesterday morning and this morning their nest was knocked down and all the babies were dead; they looked like they’d been attacked. I’m sadly suspecting a stray/community cat who I know was here this morning
