As soon as AI videos started showing up I said we’d reach a point where AI generated video ended up on the news as real events. I genuinely didn’t expect it to happen this quickly. I guess it’s easier when the “journalists” in question are so eager to believe it though.

During the pandemic restrictions I couldn’t get enough movies and shows about that exact thing - Contagion, Outbreak, The Hot Zone etc etc

Today’s charity shop find - TWO large bags of VHS tapes & music cassettes, including films such as Flatliners, Tango & Cash, Black Rain, Tomorrow Never Dies, and mostly blank cassettes that someone has recorded music on (eg UK top twenty week of 02/09/77), + a boxed Aiwa personal stereo - £7.50!

I saw a cloud on the way home that looked like Trump getting shot. I also saw two clouds that looked like an elephant fighting a bear so probably not portents.
