Especially especially with the way Medusa and Nyx react to how casually Zag shares ambrosia and what that says about him as a character.

I think there's a lot that can be dug into the way Zag takes a very fuckboy approach to relationships, especially with him interacting with Achilles+Patrocolas and Orpheus+Eurydice but the fact that both those storyline resolve in the same way is a missed opportunity.

I'm less bothered by the resolution with his family than the way he is never made to actually feel bad about the way he treats Megara and Thanatos

Like it's not *bad* but it's a very standard narrative where Zag doesn't ever grow as a character.
