Welker to Lindsey Graham as he pushes baseless conspiracy theories in an effort to gin up a scandal about Obama: "Are you trying to rewrite history to distract from the Epstein matter, senator?"

Just curious why this account poses as a BlueSky sponsored service?
Amazingly, the interface is open to anyone that has the knowledge to make use of GitHub.
Admirable, but you are NOT BlueSky, so why not be forthright with that fact?

What the fuck did she think would happen, voting for Trump, as a woman? And how in the hell is this the Democrats' fault?
Get a clue, Kat. You brought this shit on yourself and your female constituents.

Thank you for your posting.
The information is insightful, and I do appreciate it.
But, just to be clear, I was not making any judgement on the man's character. My commentary was strictly on his insights of AI.
I definitely would not want him as a boss.

Being anti-AI as I am (was?), I have to say that this opened my eyes a bit more. Until I read the post that got me here, I had just not considered collaborating with AI at all.
Watching this Mustafa Suleyman video gave me pause.
Microsoft is still the evil empire, but I do like what he had to say.

The more I think about this the more it troubles me.
X lost me because of how hostile the environment became. I'm not so much into politics either, and there seemed to be a lot more of that than I was looking for. OK, so I was not looking for any!
Maybe BlueSky is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Note: @rahaeli.bsky.social is a bully.
Been reflecting on discussions around "follow-farming" and the data used to support related claims. It's so important that the research we cite is robust and based on real-world analysis, not just simulations.
I disagreed and earned this label.

Interesting perspective.
I admit that I have been anti-AI, but have not considered the more collaborative aspects that it can be used for. My writing is my own and I would never want that taken away from me.
The most appealing aspect of what you wrote is assuring you do not send an evil message.

Because it is something that I would buy (simpleton logic...if I would buy it, someone else would buy it!).
It is a book of 500 writing prompts. I thought about 365 to make it a year, but then I thought maybe they will not like them all, so maybe I need to add more... so, 500!
Opinions???

I am not an artist (I love to write!), but the images I need are a cat slinking around in the shadows like a ninja (inspired by a real cat... that IS a ninja!). π
Figured this would be ideal for a father daughter kid book! Split royalties...everybody wins!

My kid is an aspiring artist. Works for me as long as it is something she loves. Seriously!
A long while back, I came to her with plans for a kid book... her answer was, oh, those are too hard!
She came to me and said, I can do those now!
Gave her a list of what I need (a doz. images).
NOTHING!

So, I followed-up on the suggestion to find local writer groups.
Found one that appears to be large (ten chapters), but the update of their Web site leaves something to be desired... no contacts (yet)... bad email addresses, but I keep trying! π
Web site might be something I can help with! π

Although I have used MS Word exclusively, I have encountered an issue where my lapse at the university has caused my license to expire.
I used to have Office installed locally (purchase), but one of the upgrades apparently did away with that. π‘
Any thoughts on using Google Docs from now on?

I must have fat-fingered the search when I looked before, but today I found two local groups... One that has ten chapters across the state and one in Facebook... wrote to both... now, anxious to hear back! π

The literary agent enjoyed the story, was very encouraging, and suggested my story would make an awesome episode in the Goosebumps series.
The agent seemed to vanish off the face of the Earth (died?), which left me encouraged but also not knowing what I should do next.

As soon as he stops telling the story, everyone transports right back to where they were. One of the kidnapped people makes a suggestion to him that he tries, and it makes the transport permanent... which is ultimately how they escape.

The question is then... what is the best way to find writing groups that might at least be near to me (not extensive driving)?
I live rural which lends itself to farmers and rednecks, but there are four or five city centers that are around 30-45 minutes away.

My presence here is interact with fellow writers.
The question foremost in my mind is should I share story ideas and see what people think of them, or should I be concerned that someone might steal my idea?
I figure discussing ideas helps refine them.
So, are the ideas actually stolen or shared?

Although a piece of my heritage is Cherokee Indian, I have German, Scottish, and Irish... I have no proof of anything, but I feel that there is some sort of druid in that mix. Probably sounds just as strange as it feels in saying it, but it is true!

This is not a commentary on mental health at all, but I do believe that every human has a certain amount of insanity inside of them. Some a lot more than others and some a lot less too.
This leads to creativity and in better seeing the world differently than others.
Some I admire, and some... WHY?
