As someone who’s been disabled since birth, thank you for posting this. SO many people treat disabled folks like “others”, and it’s disgusting. We will all be disabled some day, some sooner than others. I wholeheartedly agree that disability friendly infrastructure should be standard, not “charity”

I just had to walk two and a half hours home because I couldn't afford an Uber

I also haven't eaten anything in the past 24hrs and it's putting a lot of stress on the body

If anyone can spare like $15-$20 so I can get at least something in me it would be appreciated

Friendly reminder that being disabled doesn’t have a minimum age and they aren’t always visible ☝️ I literally have brain damage but I’ve gone through so much therapy/surgery that it’s practically “invisible”. I still struggle every day, and you are never one to judge if someone is disabled “enough”.
