The City of Vancouver did not just surrender in its legal defense of its own housing approval processes.

It volunteered to pay the Kits Coalition's costs.

Never mind the loss of supportive housing- which is alone is indefensible, this amounts to the city wasting likely millions in consultation, planning and legal fees for nothing.

The Kits group who sued Vancouver to stop the social housing at 7th and Arbutus are saying the city has caved and the homes there are dead.

If this is true, this is huge act of cowardice and failure of leadership.
