What started for me as a step-parent role several years ago has now has become more of a main parent role over the past year and a half - and I enjoy every little moment.

I show up, I am always there, I always put them first above anyone else and dare I say it, I would lay my life down for them.

Yes, they have become more to me than I ever expected, they love unconditionally and much like a step-parent, they made the choice to love back equally as much..

I will admit, I was very hesitant…ain’t no joke taking on others kids…BUT I made that choice and it was the best decision ever, we’ve grown to build a love that goes beyond anything I could have ever imagined, our bonds now stronger than ever and will endure anything.

Cosy Sunday afternoon satwith my girls watchin this little classic. If anything in life brings you true happiness it is time spent with family, that is priceless. 🫶

They’ll either be loyal to you or you’ll dispose of trash accordingly - so yes either way you win.

Lovely afternoon walk yesterday followed by evening meal cooked by K and ending with a lovely homemade banana split (spray cream, ice cream, chocolate sauce and of course a banana). 👌 🫶

Lunch out today, not healthy but certainly enjoyable. 👌

Late night, lots of work, time for bed now. Feeling tired certainly, but feeling happy at the same time.

Another late night coding/server admin session comes to an end…I think at 5:44 am it’s time to call it a night, it’s very productive at night, I absolutely love it. Another positive part of these late nights is I get to enjoy the day with my girls while they on summer hols.
