Chasten and I are relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe. While we wait to learn more, this much is clear: the targeting of a public official and his family - especially a prominent Jewish official on a major Jewish holiday - is unconscionable and has no place in our country.

What Democrats in PA have been up to: (in April, Week 2) Governor: • Governor Shapiro announced investments in 81 community projects across Pennsylvania to revitalize downtowns, support small businesses, and strengthen local economies through the Main Street Matters program.• Governor Shapiro is suing the Trump Administration for cancelling $185 million for Pennsylvania schools, much of which the U.S. Department of Education had already approved.• Governor Shapiro’s office announced a bold investment close to $12 million to preserve over 3,000 acres on 29 farms across the commonwealth.
