I’m all for this change.
But it should have been an open call to the community, initiated months ago. Not 6 days prior.
HCD is important to me. I take pains to plan in advance and ensure I have childcare, that I’m not on deadline, and that I can bring together local artists to draw in community.

Have I overthought what is, essentially, a silly comics challenge that I could do any day of the year if I wanted? MOST DEFINITELY. I just wanted to be honest with you all about my intentions. I know a bunch of you look forward to seeing my hourlies (thank you!) so look out for them on the 8th!(3/3)

Unfortunately they announced this 5 days before HCD was due to go ahead. A lot of folk (me included) had made plans on the 1st so that we had cool things to draw. It's too late to change those plans now. SO what I'm going to do is do my hourlies on the 1st but POST them on the 8th. (2/?)
