Anyone who says anything other than the Dualshock 2 is bloody liar. Dreamcast and Xbox are awful controllers. Gamecube was the most ergonomic but the c-stick was a poor excuse for a second analogue stick. Easy win for Sony.

How is it? I bought a similar thing years ago but the video quality was awful through it.

Picked up a new PS3 game from CeX. Lord of the Rings: War in the North. So far, very much enjoying it - despite some very dodgy accents. A definite change in pace from the all the SNES I've been playing recently.

Apart from the rest of the trilogy, I think Unexpected Journey is a great film. Definitely gets close to the quality of the trilogy in parts. The riddles in the dark section is a real standout - absolutely perfect.

Just finished Bound High. Another excellent Virtual Boy title ticked off the list. #retrogaming #virtualboy

Absolutely. I have around 100 Wii games in my collection - no filler. It has a fantastic library with something for everyone. Even my 7 year old daughter has started her second playthrough of Disney's Brave.

I have the Virtual Boy hooked up to a powerbank now and it's a total game changer. So much easier to pick up and play. It makes changing games on the Hyperflash32 a breeze too.

Just completed Jack Bros on Virtual Boy (with Jack Skeleton if anyone cares). Such an awesome game. The VB library is so underappreciated. I honestly don't think Wario Land even makes my top 5. #retrogaming

I need to explore more classic D&D art. My experience of Fantasy art has always been with Games Workshop and Middle-Earth.

That's a fantastic looking VB collection! I have about 8 or 9 boxed games, mostly JP but some US, and a couple of loose carts. I stopped buying games after buying the HF32 though. Would love a console box as mine didn't come with one. Which console box do you prefer? JP or US?

I've just been playing Jack Bros. I honestly love a bunch of VB games. Galactic Pinball, Vertical Force, Red Alarm, Teleroboxer, Space Squash, V-Tetris. I think the VB library is much higher quality than its reputation suggests.

Ah, hindsight is a painful thing for retro-game collectors. I regret trading in my Gameboy Light (probably for a PS1 game). I don't think we ever had dirt cheap games like that here, though I do remember buying the Super Mario Bros Game & Watch for £5 in about '92. That too is long gone, sadly.
