Wow! Love it! Fantastic work!
17.01.2026 16:47 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Who remembers the old #FF Fridays on Twitter? Ah, back when that platform was fun… good times, I miss those early days of “social media”.
16.01.2026 19:46 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I just came to the same conclusion and shifted everything over to Onshape. Now I’m coming to terms with my stuff being public. Super slowness, crashing on quit, super finicky file storage… I tried really hard to make it work, but nope, switching. It’s too bad, I started on AutoCAD back in the 90s 🤷♂️
16.01.2026 03:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Welp, after a ton of troubleshooting I nailed it down to friction coming from the stock spool holder on the P1S. Applying some lubricant to the holder and making a spacer to keep spools from rubbing against the printer allowed prints to complete. BambuLab support confirmed. #3dprinting #phew
08.12.2025 12:11 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0OMG, having a hell of a time with my P1S! For the last few weeks I haven’t been able to print anything consistently… after nearly 6 weeks of working perfectly. These days I can hardly get anything printed. So many extruder problems. New motor, new gear assembly, new nozzle… nothing. #3dprinting
07.12.2025 02:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Excellent, yes, I'm totally just using this stuff as an amateur/hobbyist now - I've been out of doing mechanical design professionally for 25 years now :)
19.11.2025 15:41 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Nice! I used CADKEY back in the late 90s, but the shop reverted back to 2D with AutoCAD LT. Later I played around with Pro/DESKTOP (like Pro/ENGINEER for edu) in the early 2000s, but by that time I was in software and was just playing around. Good times, using this stuff just takes me back…
19.11.2025 02:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Any #Fusion360 or #Onshape peeps out here on Bluesky? I keep waffling back and forth between these two. So far I’m landing on Fusion. On Makerworld the vote was more in favor of Onshape:
17.11.2025 23:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Ahoy Bluesky. I’ve recently found a love of 3D printing. It’s also rekindled my old love of mechanical design (I was an engineer in the 90s) and I’ve been super enjoying getting back into 3D solid modeling. Therefore I’ve pivoted my socials in that direction and came up with a new name: BTD Studio!
17.11.2025 22:49 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0As an example: Onshape is in PTC's lineage of 3D CAD software from the 1990s. It stems from Pro/Engineer (Pro-E) that cost over $20k per seat back in the 90s. I can use Onshape for free, in my browser, in 2025. Crazy.
12.11.2025 02:32 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My wife just deleted all of her social media accounts and I’m really close to doing that myself (maybe not Bluesky, it feels different here, dunno). This video is a great breakdown of what this junk is doing to us and the trend of getting off social media- youtu.be/zN-rElTzR_4?...
04.10.2025 11:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m in the process of trying to minimize all of my apps/services and one of them is my website, well more like my parked domain. I might just have it redirect here, which makes me wonder, wouldn’t it be cool to have a custom domain load your #Bluesky profile page? 🤔
24.09.2025 02:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I just wrapped v1 of a web app I'm building using nothing but AI prompting. Not "vide coding" but text-based prompting like I'm working with a junior dev on how to design, build, and test a solution. I'm referring to it as "AI Driven Development" or #AIDD (a play on TDD). On to hosting... #codex #ai
07.09.2025 15:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Trying to get reacquainted with #neovim - after a year and a half it’s taking a bit to get my vim motion fingers back. But it’s happening! 😤
27.08.2025 00:32 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don’t really have a comment for this picture, I just like it 🙂
25.08.2025 02:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s finished! I found out from the customer (my wife) that I put the wrong drawer pulls on! D’uh! But she accepted it anyway :) Maple, cherry, and walnut “apothecary” cabinet. #woodworking
28.04.2025 22:12 — 👍 8 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Here is a picture from a couple weeks ago, making a cross body bag (pattern from Springbok Craft Co) for my wife. Didn’t turn out too bad for my first bag ever. #leatherwork
21.04.2025 00:52 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Refocusing my woodworking to be more power tool based (hand cut joinery is just taking too long). Drawers are ready for glue up! #woodworking #maple #walnut
20.04.2025 20:54 — 👍 12 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The base of an apothecary case for my wife’s essential oils. Self harvested maple and hand cut dovetails. Due to a very cold winter, no insulation in my garage, and a busy schedule it’s taken me 4 months just to get to this point. Ugh. #woodworking
17.03.2025 10:46 — 👍 13 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0So far I’m about a half dozen leather working projects in… just haven’t shared pictures. Absolutely loving the new hobby! #leatherwork
12.03.2025 22:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I built myself a #leatherwork workbench this afternoon. It’s so nice! Before I was using the end of a side table… this is a big step up!
08.03.2025 00:32 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My first #leatherwork project! A cover for my large sized @fieldnotesbrand.bsky.social #notebook. A little rough, but all in all not bad. Next up is a sheath for my marking knife.
28.02.2025 12:16 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0My first real purchase of leather (not just cuts from hobby stores) will be here Tuesday. First up will be a notebook cover, a sheath for my forged marking knife and then I may tackle making a new wallet for myself. W00t! #leatherwork #newhobby #gettingstarted
22.02.2025 02:12 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Same, YouTube is really my only Alphabet property now… but I don’t know if I can give it up. There just isn’t anything out there to replace it! Ugh.

13.02.2025 01:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Just surprised that someone would take that oath and then before even leaving the stage sign a bunch of executive orders in an attempt to dismantle everything. But hey, I’m no constitutional scholar…
08.02.2025 17:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I get your point. And maybe I used too aggressive language when I said “jumping”… I think I’m just shocked by the “shock and awe” of this. I also see that taking an oath to defend and uphold the constitution is basically a verbal handshake.
08.02.2025 17:01 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The fact that this stuff is happening, without someone immediately jumping in to stop him, tells me that this country was nothing but a 250 year handshake deal to be honorable. Where are the checks and balances?
