What’s new in Visual Studio Code - January Update [1.97]. Highlights include: Copilot Next Edit Suggestions (preview), Reposition Command Palette, Auto-accept Copilot edits, Search values in debug variables, Python no-config debugging, Extension publisher trust, Combine output logs in a single view, Rich Git blame information, SVG image preview, and View inline values in notebooks.

when my script finally finished creating all of them, Azure DevOps kindly sent me over 400 emails from builds that were auto-triggered from opening the PRs lol

If you ever thought “I wish VS Code could do this with AI” it can be done without having to deal with API keys and all that.

And if you have an existing extension and wanna add AI capabilities to it, it’s just a vscode API.

Honestly, I had a very different idea for 2024 back in February…

It was supposed to be a chill year!

…but what you can take away from this is to be veryyyy careful inviting me to your wedding 💒 because I will attend no matter where or when it is.

In 2024: * 58821 miles (94663km) traveled * 96 days of travel * 16 total trips * 12 countries visited * 49 cities visited

This year was a big travel year for me and it was amazing - I am truly so lucky and privileged to be able to do so. These trips were really special:
