this god/patron specifically got me to think there might be some monastery bc it seems a patron of truth and enlightment would spark a small following that would try to uncover the truth and research the world around them. which isn't unheard of in most real world religions either.

as its a setting for both stories and (ttrpg) games, having an (elder) god that is fun and kinda wholesome to interact with is pretty neat :3

i love how chest sprites are an easy introduction to pixel art for games bc they are really distinct in their shape and style and really easy, and while you can't do much wrong with them, it is really easy to give it some personal touch.

always fond of pixel chest sprites for that reason :3

this goes back far, far, far longer than people think. I have books from the 1820s from christian scientists talking about this (with explicit mention of trans people being the result of it too) and how to deal with it.
