With some free time opening up, I've been dabbling back into a personal project in Unreal Engine 5. I'm hoping to see it through this time.

III’s goodbye (and the timing of the music) really hit me hard.

Not done yet but I am enjoying listening to @alisontheperson.bsky.social speak to @mynameisbyf.bsky.social in a recent video. I have the biggest smile on my face while listening that grew even bigger when she said “he banked that mote!” I have been hoping for this interview. Glad she took the time.

Had so much fun watching the raid race yesterday. Hated I didn't actually watch any of the final fight. Contest mode looks like one hell of a challenge. Will definitely take on the normal version sometime soon, or I at least hope to. Congrats to the teams that complete, and the teams that try!

Good luck to all the teams raiding today in Destiny 2. I'll jump in to look around when I get a chance, but not participating in contest mode with a team. Have fun, drink water, and remember at the end of the day it's just a video game.

I know there's a lot of discourse out there about matterspark, but that little ball of energy carried me through the end of one of the missions last night so you won't hear me ever complaining about it. In fact, I laughed every time I switched forms saying "ball is life"

OK I just heard something about a production of "Oryx" and "Nightmare Daddy" and I need to know more about this.

Finally finished the Edge of Fate campaign, still have side missions and secrets to uncover. I'm loving it, and hats off to you devs at Bungie. I love Lodi, and I was blown away by the magnitude of the ending. While I won't be doing day 1 raid, I'm looking forward to seeing where it leads us.

On step 19 of 31 of The Edge of Fate campaign. It's the first time I didn't finish the campaign on day one, but I'm ready to jump back in. Early impressions, I love Lodi, the destination, and the mystery that's building. It almost has some D1 vibes to it, and I'm digging it a lot.

The story of TFS hit me in all sorts of way, the team did a great job. But not completing the raid even once just makes this past year feel disappointing to me as a guardian.

My hope is in this new saga I'll make some new friends, have a group to enjoy the game with, and embrace more challenges

We're entering the next year of Destiny 2 and I'm in a weird way this year. I'm excited about the changes and wherever this new saga takes us, but I'm disappointed I never completed Salvation's Edge. It's the first DLC that I never got around to it.

Me not understanding a thing is why I immediately go to a @mynameisbyf.bsky.social video. So ha, checkmate bitch.

Not surprised that some are mad about the changes to the Destiny 2 raid opening the normal mode earlier. I don’t understand the fuss when so many people will help recov after they’ve done their first run. There’s only one team that wins world’s first.

I don't know much about @alisontheperson.bsky.social but her energy in any media I've seen her in when talking about Destiny 2 is just so awesome. I wish I could make it to GCX to see their panel about how a narrative gets crafted.

Decided to start today

Day 1

The question becomes how do you combat that. To a jaded person who doesn't believe the government or anyone is in it to help or make a difference for them, what can you do to reach out to them? It starts with making them feel heard. But is it too late?

This is not a message in defense of what is happening, but I do think that regardless of the consequences and pain suffered by many, part of it is what some of these voters voted for. They have long suffered (for different reasons), blame the government, and cherish in other people's sufferings.

Honestly I'll have to give credit to the Canes on landing Ehlers. The longer it went on I figured someone else emerged and offered him a sweeter deal. 8.5 sounds around the number I had heard prior to July 1st so glad to know they managed to keep it around there.

Proud of myself for saying this properly the whole time.

Petition to ban any Hurricanes player under term from doing a Kinetico commercial. Anyone that does that commercial doesn't tend to stay in the organization much longer with the exception of Bill Burniston if I remember correctly.

I thought about you today when I saw this trailer because I wondered if this was something you got to work on prior to leaving. Really enjoyed the trailer. Hope things are well for you!

I don't mind @destinythegame.bungie.net playing things close to the vest with the new expansion in two weeks but I'm surprised there's not even a teaser about the EoF raid. In The Final Shape expansion page we got this little description. @destiny2team.bungie.net

That was a price to pay for K'Andre Miller, but first glance I don't really mind it. Based on the composition of the team I'm a fan of this move. A Miller-Slavin top pair? I'm not torn about losing Morrow and we get a guy that makes an immediate impact and isn't 40 years old.

Want to see the full details before I opine on the Hurricanes bringing in K'Andre Miller, but I think Gleason can work with him on some of his issues and there's a lot to like about his game. Only other thing I know about him is he's a sharp dresser.

This opening round of Wimbledon has been insane. Already a lot of upsets and now Gauff is down a set and break.

Free agency this offseason was already looking somewhat lackluster, but the deals done today really diminish this. For the Canes you have to wonder what this means for their interest in Burns and/or Orlov returning.

Ah there it is. I knew there was something about 35+ players, because I think this discourse was brought up when Jordan Staal got extended (I might be remembering wrong). Not surprised @mrworkrate.com would have it.
