The camps were atrocious. The local German POW's had it way better. Something had to be done to protect them. Our soldiers coming back from the Pacific theater did not consider any Japanese to be human. To suggest they would have been perfectly safe is goddam stupid.

One thing that bothers me about the narrative. America was flooded with anti Japanese propaganda to the extreme. How bad would the "Vigilantly Justice" been if they were in the general population? How many would have seek revenge over the death of a brother, son in battle?

Israel has enough brain power to know their stated goal, to eliminate Hamas is just a marketing scheme. Say they eliminate Hamas. Those with the same mindset will form under a different name. They need to win hearts and minds. Killing 40,000+ civilians will not do this.

The GOP keeps yelling "no help for California fire victims unless California makes changes to its forestry policy. " This is not really a wild fire. This is an urban fire. Imagine what the GOP will say if California banned certain plant species and where you could plant in relation to your home.

I fear Trumps re election has empowered racists in police departments across the country. I fear these people will kill innocents to start protests that the racists police will try to turn into riots. I fear the federal response.

While I am sure we all appreciate the coverage of LA's elite losing their multi million dollar homes, giving us the hope they may learn empathy. It is a terrible thing when anyone loses their home and cherished items. Trailer parks are burning down too. This is where the tragedies lie.

Apparently where California burned insurance companies wouldn't insure against fires the risk was so high. There was State fire insurance but I understand the cost was outrageous. Could be a lot of people are not insured.

While I agree the US needs to do something drastic, invading Canada Denmark and Panama isn't it. I'm thinking more along the lines of taxing billionaires
