This little guy hit the window and was apparently just stunned. So decided to protect him from Stellar Jays and ants by letting him rest in my hands. After a bit of rest and some fresh sugar water he flew off. What a cool experience.

Check for a fledgling on the ground. We had a tree full of Magpies at the dog park raising all sort of stink. I went over, saw a young one in the tall grass, scooped it up with my cap & put in on the other side of the fence (by the tree). Eventually, the bird managed to claw it's way back up.

Ok. Newest addiction is Mezcal. I had a mixologist from Hunters Chophouse (hunterschophouse.com) make a Mezcal Old Fashioned and then Mezcal Margarita. He challenged me to find cocktails for next adventure. What has worked for you? (trying to avoid The Google doing all my work).
