Any idea what these white bugs are on my hibiscus. And if so, do you know what you can do about them?

The law does not require info be classified, because it was written before the classification system existed. The law refers simply to "national defense information."

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

I would go a bit further. With the ever increasing impact of climate change, all insurance companies should be non profit. As a society, we can not afford to have companies profiteering on disaster and misfortune. Insurance should be a safety net.

That is why we need to focus on electing quality people to local and statewide offices. Act local, think global. Bottom up not top down.

The sunlight casts a long stark dramatic shadow from the leaf across the ground. Every so often, a little puff of icy air would cause the leaf to scuttle crab like across the concrete making clear scrabbling noise in the near silence. I crouched watching it for a very long time.

Today I will not ruminate on the past or obsess about the future. Instead, I will fully inhabit the present. Where currently, there are no alligators chewing on my butt. And, it is glorious!
