All in all, Resistance: FOM isn't a horrible game, but also isn't going on my "Games to Play Before you Die" list. Maybe the other games might get there?
I'll probs play a different game series after this, probably back to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or Tears of the Kingdom.

-difficulty straight away. Not sure I could have handled starting a Hard playthrough after finishing on Easy or Medium, I wouldn't have been able to handle it mentally.

6. However, in all my griping about the difficulty, after finishing the game, I selected a level to get a quick skill point, played on Easy, and I actually enjoyed the quick sections I played. So after everything, I completely understand why people like it, I was just complaining cos I chose Hard-

5. I couldn't wait for the game to be finished. It felt so tedious and such a grind, especially due to being so easy to kill on the last mission; luckily they were quite generous with the checkpoints in the final room or I would have actually lost my shit.

4. I love the "skill point" system, very clever way of having achievements (trophies I guess cos PS3) before the system has been implemented for the console, and having them unlock little bonuses is very cool. Would have been nice to have more rewards, but I can't complain too much.

2. Whoever gave the go-ahead for the enemy spawn rate to be so fucking ridiculous needs to have their brain checked.

3. Nathan Hale is extremely boring as a character. I understand the "silent protagonist" approach, but god damn, at least don't make him so fucking stale.

1. Why the hell were they so stingy with checkpoints? I swear there were like 10 spots where I had to replay a 5 minute section just to die right before a checkpoint or the end of a level. Also, the London boss fight can go get fucked.

Just completed Resistance: Fall of Man for the 1st time, took just over 9 hours on Hard difficulty.

I have a few thoughts about it:

Just saw that a long time friend of mine has unfriended me on Facebook after I was gonna message them cos I hadn't spoken to them in a while.

I know it was intentional too because we still have a high school mutual friend that I'm 99% sure she hasn't spoken to since high school.

So yea that sucks.

On another note, saw Mastodon and Kerry King last night, was pretty fun.

Bruh I completely forgot this app existed and feel like I lost 3 years of keeping up with people. I almost need a fucking daily reminder that says "hey, remember to talk to your friends! Or soon you won't have any!"
