A gigantic dork, who just happens to serve as an NFL analyst for Bleacher Report and stewards the site's draft coverage/scouting department. What are the best things in life? Family, friends, football, comic books and good beer. It really is that simple.

I know of several wonderful breweries in the area if you're ever interested. π»
Also, William McKinley's tomb is worth visiting once. Seriously.
MJF must have creative control, too.
02.08.2025 11:18 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0π¨NEWS: ESPN and NFL have agreed to a blockbuster billion dollar deal that will result in top media properties, like RedZone, moving to the network, The Athletic has learned.
An official announcement is expected next week.

Transfers are the new normal in college football. Certain moves can be hugely beneficial & propel prospects to elite draft status (See: Ward, Cam).
Who are the players to watch closely and see if they can make a similar leap this fall after changing programs?

Lost???
Anyhow, The Shield is the correct answer.
Lived through the three golden eras of wrestling (80s, late 90s and now).
WWE killed my love of the industry in 2001. Didn't watch for 15 years. ROH/New Japan mainly brought me back.
I'll turn 45 later this year and been a diehard AEW fan since Day 1. I don't watch WWE at all.
Which gets me back to America's favorite sports...
1. NFL
2. College football
3. NFL draft
...
4. Everything else
There are now college football programs with higher payrolls than a handful of MLB teams. π
Let that sink in for a moment.
I'll always be a Cody Rhodes fan for what he did as part of The Elite and in starting AEW. I was at his last AEW match and continued to cheer for him.
At the same time, people tend to forget how bad some of stuff was during the second half of his AEW run. He was great...until he wasn't.
I think you're overreacting to a degree. Again, I don't expect it to happen. I find it an interesting possibility and different from what AEW has done to date. Love that Tony books logically. At the same time, the element of surprise doesn't happen often within the company.
30.07.2025 16:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For clarification, losing as a top talent for story line purposes is not the same as jobbing.
30.07.2025 16:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I had Busted Radio on yesterday and heard Bully Ray make a Rocky reference in regards to ol' Phil and his SummerSlam match. It made me chuckle.
Thought to myself, "What are you talking about, Bully? Phil doesn't understand Rocky references." π
Zero build? They've been working an MJF/Hanger angle for a couple months now. It hasn't been the primary story, but they've gone back to it repeatedly with mentions and interactions.
30.07.2025 16:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Also, we need to get rid of the hyperbole when comparing everything to the worst things during WCW's run. Nothing AEW has ever done comes close to what happened at that time. A cash-in wouldn't, either.
30.07.2025 16:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't think it would kill his momentum at all. He's still be a top guy, and he's still be chasing the title--which he'd eventually win back probably before the end of the year. The story would still be centered on him. Just a different foil after nine months of dealing with Moxley.
30.07.2025 16:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Where else are the major promotions supposed to sign free agents from? At least in AEW, those individuals can go back and work at those other promotions. π€·ββοΈ
30.07.2025 16:16 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I doubt they do it, but it would be wild.
30.07.2025 16:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm not going to rule out MJF cashing in tonight after Hanger wins a brutal match. Can capitalize on Happy Gilmour 2 success, while also furthering an ongoing story line. Put Hangman back on the chase and give the fans what they want twice in one year when he inevitably beats him again for the belt.
30.07.2025 16:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0AEW had a LOT of interest in Kross originally, then he signed with WWE. Not sure he could legitimately go with the talent currently found within the company.
30.07.2025 15:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Browns CB Martin Emerson Jr. suffered an Achilles injury during practice Tuesday and will undergo further testing to determine the severity.
29.07.2025 20:27 β π 27 π 4 π¬ 0 π 2One of my favorite players from the 2022 class. Got on him early in the draft process, saw the potential and his development into a legit NFL LT has been impressive to watch.
29.07.2025 14:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0First-round NFL draft picks get all of the headlines. The next tier of rookies is where the magic can really happen if they hit, especially if they're Day 1 starters. A handful are already making waves in training camp.

Titans selections of Isaiah Wilson, Caleb Farley and Treylon Burks in back-to-back-to-back years form a trio of all-time awful first-round picks that rival some of the things that the Cleveland Browns did over the last 25 years.
28.07.2025 21:28 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The Titans have now waived/injured Treylon Burks
28.07.2025 20:16 β π 89 π 8 π¬ 12 π 13No argument. Don't think she was fully healthy upon her debut. With that said, I just mentioned reasons why some people may have been down on her from the start. Then, it snowballed, especially with all the "creative control" misinformation.
28.07.2025 17:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One of the biggest nothingburgers on the NFL calendar.
28.07.2025 16:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Her initial build definitely fell flat because she didn't wrestle for two months until after her debut. The new finisher wasn't good. The Britt Baker match didn't help. Plus, she actually speaks her mind on social media, which certain fans don't like.
But her run has been great since Full Gear.
