This is the right message from Starmer, but I don't understand why it took him a week (and presumably multiple focus groups) to say it.

I'm halfway through (it's on Disney+) and it's excellent and enraging.

I continue to be amazed by the size of the ego it must take to think you're going to come out of an interview with him looking good. Every single time, they become this meme.

It's alarming how many people need to hear this: racism is not the natural and inevitable response to the presence of (the wrong number of) racialised Others. It is a learned response, and as such it is contestable and replaceable.

This is anti-racism 101. Entry level stuff.
