Make sure the ventilation is set to introduce fresh air. In an old car there’s usually a slider between “fresh” and “recirculate”. Keep it on “fresh” to avoid CO2 buildup and condensation.

“Weather related”? For those that deny the existence of pathogens?

Why is it still called germ THEORY ? We can see the germs, we can show they cause disease. When can we stop using the word “theory”? Let’s stop using their framing and call it something more accurate.

AVOID indoor social gatherings
AVOID crowded non-essential places
Below that, text reads, infection increases risks of long-term health damage (Statistics Canada). A Statistics Canada graph shows long term symptoms from one infection (14.6% of people), two infections (25.4%), and for three or more infections (37%).

Why was an officer crossing in front of a “suspect’s” vehicle while distracting himself with a phone in his dominant hand? Was he trying to get himself killed? Who trained this guy?

By not implementing control measures like respirators in schools, they are ensuring that it will continue.

And still no standards for maximum CO2 in schools.

The argument seems to be: there are very few med school slots, so we have reject nearly every applicant. Therefore we can require successful applicants to have advanced degrees. This is not a good way to select for empathetic or skilled future doctors.

In an airport today, N95 on as usual. Surprised at how many people are masking. Not what I usually see when I fly.

The first bullet, “wash your hands” is a directive - very clear. The fifth bullet, about masks, starts with a conditional (if you’re sick..) then suggests (“consider wearing) a mask, not a respirator. Talk about burying the lede.

That’s about $65 per active duty military person in the US. Is this going to specific groups, or is it just another bribe?

Thanks for sharing this. I’ve had two (mild) episodes of shingles since getting a Covid infection. Good thing I had the shingles vaccine.

I got this machine transcript of a voicemail today. Word for word, I swear: English service press one, Chinese press two. Yo honey, you need a deal! Why she only tongue jump? I think, “can you but die?” Should you yell, shouting in your fooling, and you doing lunching on earth?
