The charter schools are good. The public, not so much. Delaware has the highest percentage of private school students in the country. There are a number of terrific private schools. There’s a couple that are as good as any high schools anywhere

Another example is the state is trying to get wind turbines 20+ miles offshore to create clean energy. The Sussex County Government opposed it. There’s a coal burning power plant that just closed in Millsboro and those idiots want to reopen it.

You have to understand the dynamics. The locals are uneducated and very republican. There are a lot of new people moving into the county because of the low taxes. The fact that a democrat won is a big deal. Delaware is run by the brains in the upstate (thank God)

It was in Sussex County, which historically has been very red. It’s very rural and undereducated. Crappy schools. They constantly complain that the upstate controls the government. Thank goodness it does because that’s where the money and the educated live
