I'm pleased to hear that the EU deal will bring down food prices, but only if importers and shops pass on the lower prices and don't just see it as an opportunity to increase profits.

I think the Tories had to go through the motions of an agreement with the EU but they didn't really want one so made everything as difficult as possible. Hopefully the benefits of this deal will allow the Country to see the benefits of being back on the EU.

Starmer will not revoke his red lines on Freedom of Movement and the Single Market because of facts and reasons. The only thing that will move him is Labour voters shifting in large numbers to the LibDems and Greens in local and by-elections. He must fear progressives more than Brexiters.

I've thought for ages how easy it would be to run for a party that is sure to win and then switch to the party you really want. If an MP switches parties, there must be an election. Same if PM resigns.
