If you’re worried about losing Never Trumpers… don’t. There are literally troops patrolling the streets. If you’re a center right voter who truly wants to preserve democracy, then you have plenty of reasons to stomach a return to historically normal tax on the ultrawealthy.

Give us a firebreathing working man who talks about how workers and small businesses are both getting screwed by big money.

Then have that guy talk about how obscene it is that Nancy Pelosi and her colleagues on the right and the left are making millions in Congress.

Dems need a strongly pro-union “independent” who can speak to Christian voters convincingly.

Dem centrism reads as empty ambition to the majority of voters. That’s why they stay home in Texas. We need someone with convictions who can fight the party. But they should fight elites, not populists.

Running the most centrist Dem in Texas is a demonstrably losing strategy.

We need a progressive, strongly pro-Union Dem who talks like a devout Christian. They should be forceful enough in their convictions to bring non-voters off the bench.
