We have been driving fully electric cars since 2012 and we've never owned a #Tesla. Never more happy about that than now.

Also, I subscribe to the digital version of the "failing New York Times." (It's been failing since 2015 or so, which is a pretty amazing run of failure.) That is also keeping me in a disgusted and extremely sad state.

Right after the elections, I didn't watch the news for a week, plus. I did get news from my carefully curated Facebook feed. Now I'm off Facebook for at least a week and I'm not watching the news. Still seeing news here and a news feed associated with my email client. I am disgusted and sad.

My deceased father used to say that so and so "was going to hell in a handbasket." Well, in the words of my dad (with whom I was constantly at odds politically), "This country is going to hell in a handbasket."

All we want is a safe route to travel by bike.
