i'm a bit worried by most of us being unable to read longer books. Even I have read more novellas this year (that are published as Books) than novels, and after 60+ years as an avid reader, I am struggling a bit. How are the non-avid readers faring?

It's his first race since Preakness where yes, he came in third, but prior to the Haskell, I expected the winner of the AR Derby to be a bit better than the winner of the Lexington. Of course, I also love me a gray horse, and I really want them to win (all the time!), so maybe I just hope for more.

Her novels are great! Her social media stuff isn't bad, either. I really think her publisher might do just a tad bit more to move her titles. She's a solid read, and she deserves it.

When I lived in Des Moines Iowa, I was shocked by co-workers from suburban West Des Moines who were scared to walk around in the cleanest, whitest city I've ever seen. (Also, very flat and so much easier than Pittsburgh for walking.)

On track is the best! Canterbury really is a very pretty place. Had a great time when we were there. One thing the videos never seem to convey is how lovely a track is. I enjoyed our trips to Pimlico, but it was not that pretty. Yet on tv, races at Saratoga and Pimlico look pretty much the same.

Oh, my! What a payout! As an aside, Canterbury is a delight. Since moving back to PA, we haven't been able to enjoy this gem, but we're hoping to make a Midwest trek sometime this year - hopefully when races are still running. (We are the worst planners ever. Obviously.)
